97 S Pen SettingsSettingsConfigure options and settingsfor the S Pen.To configure settings for the S Pen:1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings> S Pen.2. Configure any of the following settings:• Air command: Turn the Air command featureon or off.• Air view: Turn the Air view feature on or off.• Pointer: Turn the pointer on or off. The pointerappears on the screen when the tip of theS Pen is hovering close enough. Holding thepointer over some features can reveal what anitem is or what it does.• Direct pen input: Turn the Direct pen inputfeature on or off. This feature allows you toswitch from the keyboard to the S Pen whenfilling in form fields.• S Pen alerts: Tap the check box to set yourdevice to sound an alert and show a pop-up ifyou forget to attach the S Pen and walk awayfrom it with your device.• Disable pen detection: Turn off pen detectionwhen the S Pen is attached. This can helpextend battery life.• S Pen sound: Tap the check box to enablesounds when writing with the S Pen.• S Pen vibration feedback: Activate vibrationfeedback when writing with the S Pen.• Detachment options: Select an action for thedevice to take when the S Pen is detachedfrom the device.• Attach/detach sound: Select a sound for thedevice to make when the S Pen is detachedfrom the device.• Attach/detach vibration: Activate vibrationfeedback when the S Pen is attached anddetached.For more information on using the S Pen, see S Pen.S Pen Settings
