Phone Basics 30Screen View OptionsYour Galaxy Note 4 lets you use additional motions and gestures, along with features such asMulti window, to maximize your productivity and enjoyment.Motions and GesturesControl your phone by making specific gestures with your hand above the phone’s screen.● Direct call: Call the contact whose recent call log, message, or contact details are displayed bylifting the phone to your ear.● Smart alert: The phone vibrates to alert you to missed calls and notifications that occurred sincethe last time you picked up your phone.● Mute/pause: Mutes incoming calls and pause playback by turning the phone screen-side down,or by covering the screen with your hand. You can also use Smart pause, to have the phonepause video playback when you look away from the screen.● Palm swipe to capture: Creates a copy of the current screen by swiping the side of your handacross the screen, from left to right or right to left. The screen shot is saved to the clipboard, andto the Screenshots folder.Enable Motions and Gestures1. From home, tap Apps > Settings > Motions and gestures.2. Tap an option to view its description, and then tap the ON/OFF switch to enable the feature.Multi WindowUse two apps on the same screen, in separate, resizable windows.Turn Multi Window On or OffTurn Multi window on or off in Settings.1.
