89 Lock ScreenSettingsLock ScreenChoose a method for unlockingyour screen. Different ScreenLocks have different levels ofsecurity and options.Set a Screen Lock1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >Settings.2. Tap Lock Screen3. Tap Screen lock to select a screen lock andlevel of security:• Swipe: Swipe the screen to unlock it. Thisoption provides no security.• Pattern: A screen unlock pattern is a tapgesture you create and use to unlock yourdevice. This option provides medium security.• PIN: Select a PIN to use for unlocking thescreen. This option provides medium to highsecurity.• Password: Create a password for unlockingthe screen. This option provides high security.• Fingerprint: Use fingerprint recognitionto unlock the screen. This option providesmedium to high security.• None: Never use a Lock screen.Show or Hide SensitiveNotification ContentAfter choosing, you can select whether to showor hide sensitive notification content on the lockscreen.1. Tap Show all content, Hide sensitive content,or Do not show notifications.2.
