Multimedia 145Camera OptionsOptions are represented by icons across both sides of thescreen.The following shortcuts are available for the camera:Focus area: displays the area of the image used as themain focus area.If the image is too close, the square will turn red.Self portrait: allows you to set the front camera so youcan take pictures of yourself.Flash: allows you to set the flash options to Off, On, orAuto flash.Shooting mode: allows you to set the shooting modeto one of the following:• Single shot: takes a single photo and view itbefore returning to the shooting mode.• Best photo: takes a series of photographssimultaneously, then allows you to cycle throughthe available thumbnails and choose the bestphoto to keep. Tap Done to select the photo.Shooting mode (continued):• Best face: takes a series of photographssimultaneously, then allows you to cycle throughthe available thumbnails and choose the bestphoto showing the subject’s best face. Tagsubject from the image, tap a desired image, andselect Save to store the photo.• Face detection: adjusts the camera focus basedon face detection technology.• Panorama: takes a landscape photo by taking aninitial photo and then adding additional images toitself. The guide box lets you view the areawhere the second part of the panoramic pictureshould fall within.• Share shot: uses Wi-Fi Direct to share yourpictures quickly with your friends. For moreinformation, refer to “Enabling Share Shot” onpage 152.• HDR: takes pictures in HDR (High DynamicRange) mode to increase image detail.
