DRAFTInternal Use OnlyContacts 97Synchronizing ContactsSyncing data from your managed accounts allows you to addand manage a new or existing contact from your online orremote accounts to your phone. Prior to syncing, you mustfirst have an active Google or Microsoft Exchange accountwith current Contact entries, and be signed into your accountvia the phone.With syncing, any Contacts entries (with phone numbers,email addresses, pictures, etc.) are updated and synced withyour device.1. From the Home screen, press and then tapSettings ➔ (Accounts tab) and then navigateto the My accounts area.2. Select the email account containing the contacts youwish to synchronize.3. Tap within the adjacent account field to reveal theaccount’s synchronization settings screen.4. To synchronize only Contacts, toggle the active state ofthe Sync Contacts field. A green check mark indicatesthe feature is enabled.Note: The process of updating your Contacts tab can takeseveral minutes. If after 10-20 minutes, your list has notbeen updated, repeat step 2-3.5. Your Contacts tab then reflects any updated Contactinformation.Note: Syncing of contacts requires you are logged into yourGmail and Corporate accounts via the device.Display OptionsThe Display options menu allows you to allows you to choosewhich contacts to display. You can also choose to displayonly contacts that have phone numbers.Note: Once a display filter has been selected, only thoseContact entries are shown until the All contacts option isre-selected.
