5 Assemble Your DeviceGetting StartedCharge the BatteryYour device is powered by a rechargeable, standardLi‑Ion battery. A Wall/USB Charger (charging headand USB cable) is included with the device forcharging the battery.The battery comes partially charged. A fullydischarged battery requires up to four hours ofcharge time. You can use the device while charging.Caution: Use only Samsung‑approved chargingdevices and batteries. Samsung accessories aredesigned to maximize battery life. Using otheraccessories may invalidate your warranty and maycause damage.1. Insert the USB cable into the port.2. Connect the USB cable to the charging head,then plug the charging head into a standardAC power outlet.3. When charging is complete, unplug the charginghead from the power outlet and remove the USBcable from the device.Caution: Failure to unplug the wall charger before youremove the battery can cause damage to the device.When to Charge the BatteryWhen the battery is weak and only a few minutes ofoperation remain, the device sounds a warning toneat regular intervals.In this condition, your device conserves itsremaining battery power by dimming the screen.When the battery level becomes too low, the deviceautomatically turns off.► For a quick check of your battery level, view thebattery charge indicator located in the Status barof your device’s display.
