102Changing Music Settings1. From a Home screen, tap (Apps) ➔ (Music).2. Tap (Menu). The following options display:• Hide now playing bar / Show now playing bar: Hide or show theNow Playing bar that appears at the bottom of the screen. You canreturn to the Now playing screen from other Music screens bytouching the name of the current song in the Now Playing bar.• Shuffle all: Play all songs in a random order.• Hide labels / Show labels: Hide or show labels. This option is notavailable in all library views.• Help: Opens the Browser with information about the Musicapplication.Listening to MusicYou can listen to music by using your device’s built-in speakers,through a wired headset, or through a wireless Bluetooth stereoheadset. For more information, refer to “Bluetooth” onpage 115.Press (Volume Key) on the side of the device toactivate on-screen volume control, then touch and drag on thescale to set volume. You can also press the Volume Key to adjustplayback volume.Playing Music1. From a Home screen, tap (Apps) ➔ (Music).2. Tap a song in your library to listen to it.– or –While viewing a list of songs, tap next to a song andtap Play.– or –While viewing a list of albums, artists, playlists, or genres,the label area under an item and tap Play.The Now playing screen opens and the song you touchedor the first song in the album or playlist starts to play. Thetracks in the current list play in order until you reach theend of the list (unless you choose a repeat option).Otherwise, playback stops only if you stop it, even whenyou switch applications.
