Multimedia 131To make your online music available offline on your device:1. From within the Play Music application, change yourlibrary view to Albums, Artists, or playlists. For moreinformation, refer to “Changing Library View” onpage 124.2. Tap Menu ➔ Choose on device music and tap thealbum or playlist you want to make available offline.A blue pin indicates that the item is alreadyavailable offline.Darker pins appear next to the items you can makeavailable offline. A bar at the bottom of the screenshows how much space is available on your device formusic and other files.Dim blue pins indicate songs or albums that you copieddirectly from a computer to your device.3. Tap the dark pin next to each item you want to makeavailable offline or tap a blue pin to stop making itavailable offline. You can switch to other views of yourlibrary to make other kinds of items available offline aswell.4. Tap Done in the bar at the bottom of the screen.The Music application starts downloading the items toyour device.Music PlayerThe Music Player plays music and other audio files that you copyfrom your computer. The Music Player is an application thatcan play music files. The music player supports files withextensions AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, WMA, 3GP, MP4, andM4A. Launching the Music Player allows you to navigatethrough your music library, play songs, and create playlists(music files bigger than 300 KB are displayed).Playing Music1. From a Home screen, tap Apps➔ Music Player.The Music Player application searches your device’sinternal storage for music and playlists. This can takefrom a few seconds to several minutes, depending onthe amount of new music added since you last openedthe application. It then displays your music in severalways.
