A Wall/USB Charger (Charging Headand USB cable) is included with the device, forcharging the battery.The battery comes partially charged. You must fullycharge the battery before using your device for thefirst time. A fully discharged battery requires up to 4hours of charge time. After the first charge, you canuse the device while charging.Warning: Use only Samsung-approved chargingdevices and batteries. Samsung accessories aredesigned to maximize battery life. Using otheraccessories may invalidate your warranty and maycause damage.Your device comes with a charger (charging headand USB cable) to charge your device from any110/220 VAC outlet.1. Insert the USB cable into the port.2. Connect the USB cable to the charging head,then plug the charging head into a standardAC power outlet.3. When charging is complete, unplug the charginghead from the power outlet and remove the USBcable from the device.Caution Failure to unplug the wall charger before youremove the battery, can cause damage to the device.When to Charge the BatteryWhen the battery is weak and only a few minutes oftalk time remain, the battery icon ( ) blinks and thedevice sounds a warning tone at regular intervals.In this condition, your device conserves itsremaining battery power, not by turning off the backlight, but by entering the dimming mode.When the battery level becomes too low, the deviceautomatically turns off.► For a quick check of your battery level, glance atthe battery charge indicator located in the upper-right corner of your device’s display. Solid color( ) indicates a full charge.You can also choose to display a percentagevalue. Having a percentage value onscreen canprovide a better idea of the remaining charge onthe battery.
