Otherwise, when it dries, salt may accumulate and blockthe microphone, and speaker.n When drying off your device, be sure to pat the microphone (lower right side of screen), andspeaker (rear of device) with a clean, soft cloth to remove as much water as possible.n When making a call immediately after your device is wet, the microphone may have water in itwhich may lower the volume that the other person will hear. After drying off the device, allow thedevice to air-dry before making a call.n Always keep the USB Port clean and be careful to avoid damaging it.Set Up Your Gear SBefore using your new Gear S, charge the battery and connect it to a smartphone.Charge the BatteryBefore using your Gear S for the first time, charge the battery. You can charge the Gear S byconnecting it to the charging dock and plugging the USB charger into an outlet.If the battery is completely depleted, you won’t be able to turn on the Gear S immediately, even if thecharging dock is connected. Allow a depleted battery to charge for a few minutes before turning onthe Gear S.While charging, some features are not available.1.
