73Registering My Star in Photo Record mode.By registering faces that are frequently recorded, you can adjust focus andexposure before recording. To use this function, insert a memory card.1. In the submenu items, touch “My Star”2. Focus on the desired face to register, then press the PHOTObutton.• For better detection performance, it is recommended torecord up to 5 photos of the left, right and front of a face.• Record only one face at a time and register.3. To save the recorded face, touch the ( OK ) tab.• When you take 5 photos of a face, the face is automaticallyregistered to My Star without the need of touching the ( OK )tab.4. In the Play mode, touch the Play ( ) tab ( ) tab.• The face registered to My Star is displayed with in the face list.• You can register up to 8 people to My Star.• The flash does not turn on when recording the My Star.• To register the same face to the My Star again, delete the previously registered face.To check the registered or detected face1.
