You may be able to temporarilyextend the toner cartridge life. See “Redistributing theToner” on page 6.2. If this does not improve the printquality, install a new toner cartridge.• The paper may not meet paper specifications (for example,the paper is too moist or too rough). See “PaperSpecifications” on page A.2.• If the entire page is light, the print resolution setting is toolight or Toner Save Mode is on. Adjust the print resolutionand Toner Save Mode in the printer properties. See page5.6 and 5.11 respectively.• A combination of faded or smeared defects may indicatethat the toner cartridge needs cleaning.
