Networking Description and Programming Procedure10-2 © SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd.10.1.1 Provide Q-SIG Basic FunctionNetworking of the OfficeServ 100 system provides basic Q-SIG functions as follows:10.1.1.1 Intercom CallThis function allows you to call a station of another system as if calling the station in thesame system.10.1.1.2 Incoming CallThis function allows you to forward incoming trunk line calls to a station of another systemwithout any additional operation.10.1.1.3 Outgoing CallThis function allows you to make calls through the trunk line of another system as ifmaking an outgoing call through that of the same system.10.1.2 Provide Inherent Additional Function through Q-SIGThe OfficeServ 100 system networking provides the inherent additional functions below byusing Q-SIG.10.1.2.1 Unique Numbering PlanThis function allows you to assign phone numbers with minimum programming to stationsof all the systems connected through the network as to those within the same system10.1.2.2 Called Number/Name DisplayWhen calling the station of another system, the phone number and name of the other partyare displayed as when calling that of the same system.10.1.2.3 Connected Number/Name DisplayWhen the station of another system is connected, the phone number and name of the otherparty are displayed as if connected to that of the same system.10.1.2.4 Call Progress DisplayThe phone number and name of the other party is displayed in the same format as within asingle system when calls to another system is transferred, forwarded, or reconnected aftercall forward.
