Section 2A: Your Sprint PCS Phone: The Basics 31Phone BasicsDialing OptionsWhen you enter numbers in standby mode, a number ofoptions are available to you. Press Options ( ) to performthe following actions: Send Msg: allows you to send a text message withattachments to the number being dialed. Dial: Dials the number or digits displayed. Save: Enter a seven-ten digit number (phone numberand area code) and press to save the phonenumber in your Contact List. (See “Saving a PhoneNumber” on page 36.) Find: Enter a digit or string of digits and press(Options). Select Find to display Contact List entries thatcontain the entered numbers. (See “Finding a PhoneNumber” on page 37.) Hard Pause: allows you to enter a hard pause. Tocontinue dialing, you must press a key. (See “Dialingand Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses” on page 38.) 2sec Pause: allows you to enter a 2 second pause thatwill automatically begin dialing without any additionalkeys being pressed.
