Inaddition to controlling the TV, the universal remote control canalso operate a VCR, Cable box, DVD, and some Samsung Set-topboxes (even if your VCR, Cable box and DVD are made bymanufacturers other than Samsung).➢ The remote control might not be compatible with allVCRs, DVD players, Cable boxes, and Set-Top Boxs.1 Turn off your VCR (Cable box or DVD).2 Press the MODE button to switch the remote control to the VCR(CATV or DVD) mode.➢ The remote control has five modes : TV, STB, VCR,CABLE and DVD.3 Press the SET button.4 Enter 3 digits of the VCR (Cable box or DVD) code listed on thenext page for your VCR (Cable box or DVD).Example: To enter code “6”, press 0, 0, and 6.To enter code “76”, press 0, 7, and 6.5 Press the (power) button.
