The phone begins searching for anetwork signal.3. Once the phone finds a signal, thetime, date, and day appear in thesecond line of the display.4. You’re now ready to place andreceive calls.Note: If you are outside of your carrier’s coverage or roaming area, the NoService icon ( ) appears at the top of the phone’s display. If youcannot place or receive calls, try later when service is available, or atanother location.Turn Your Phone Off Press and hold the LOCK key ( ), on the top of thephone, for two or more seconds. Your phone powers off.Note: If your phone is on and you press for less than one second, thephone will not power off.
