61Message Services60Transmitting MessagesYour phone transmits text messages and pages. Yourphone can store up to 10 outgoing messages. And youcan store the message for later sending.Transmitting Page and Text MessagesTo transmit page and text messages:1. Press to display the Messages Menu.2. Press for TX Message.3. Press for Page, or press for Text.4.The screen displays to guide you through theprocess. If you choose to transmit a Text, pressthe associated alphanumeric key to enter a letter.Press to end a typing.5.Your phone requests the Destination phonenumber. The phone uses the number to processlater.6. Enter the desired phone number.7. Press . The phone requests the Call Backnumber.This number may be your phone number,office number or home number.8. Enter the desired phone number.9. Press . You can set text messages’ priority, ifavailable. Priority options are: NORMAL, URGENT,EMERGENCY.10. Press . The phone processes a transmis-sion. '2 ABCOK /Choosing Alert Type for Message ReceivingThe phone alerts you when a message is received.You can choose how frequently this happens. Thethree options are: EVERY 2 MIN, OFF, ONCE.To set the frequency:1. Press to display the Message menu.2. Press for RX Message.3. Press to select SMS Alert.4. Press the scroll keys until you find your desiredtype.5. Press to save the setting.Erasing MessagesYou can erase all stored message.To erase messages:1. Press to display the Message Menu.2.
