13Installing a Memory Card1. Open the memory card cover.2. With the gold contacts facing down, slide the memorycard into the slot, pushing gently until it clicks intoplace.3. Close the memory card cover.Unmounting and Removing a Memory CardImportant! To prevent damage to information stored on thememory card, unmount the card before removing itfrom the phone.1. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔Settings ➔ Storage ➔ Unmount SD card.2. At the prompt, read the warning and select OK tocontinue. Wait for the SD card removed icon toappear in the Status bar and Notification panel.3. Open the memory card cover.4. Gently press on the memory card, then release so thatit pops out from the slot, and carefully pull the card out.5.
