When you access this menu, a list ofthe recorded messages appears.Note: If the phone has the callers’ messages waitingto be checked, it displays the total number ofthe messages and caller’s number. Pressingtakes you to the Inbox.Press or to scroll to a messag and pressto play it.You can pause playing by pressing and thenresume by pressing .On the message list, press the Menu soft key tothe following options:Play: plays the selected message.Erase: erases the selected message.Info: shows detailed information about themessage, such as caller’s number if identified,length, memory size and date and time when themessage was recorded.Talk: places a call to the caller’s number, ifidentified.On/Off (Menu 5-2-2)This menu allows you to enable or disable VoiceAnswer mode.Setting (Menu 5-2-3)You can change the settings for the voice answermode. The following options are available:Voice Tools85Greeting: Your phone provides you with thedefault greeting message to be played when a callcomes in. You can also record your own greetingmessage.To record a greeting message:1. Select Record and press .2. Wait until a beeping prompt sounds and recorda greeting message by speaking into themicrophone.You can pause recording by pressing and thenresume by pressing .3. When recording is complete, press . Thephone automatically saves and activates themessage.If you want to play back the currently selectedmessage, highlight Play and press .To enable or disable your own greeting message:1. Highlight Select and press .2. Select My Message to use your message orDefault to use the default message.3. Press to save your selection.Note: Once you have recorded your own messageand then have changed the greeting to thedefault message, your message is deleted.Screening: allows you to enable or disable thescreening speaker which allows you to listen tothe caller’s message while the caller is leaving it.Wait Time: allows you to set how long the phonewaits before answering a call with the greetingmessage. Selecting No ring means that thephone plays back the message as soon as a callcomes in.
