Section 12: Tools 161Voice KitSection 12Voice CommandsTo access the Voice Commands menu, do one of thefollowing:• In standby mode, press and hold the key.“Say a Command” appears in the display and is pronouncedthrough the earpiece, followed by a list of availablecommands.• In standby mode, press the MENU (left) soft key ( ), thenpress (for Tools), (for Voice Kit), and for VoiceCommand.Note: You can also set your phone to start VoiceSignal when you open thephone. See “Voice Setting — Voice Launch” on page 186 for moreinformation.The following voice commands appear in the display:• Voice Dial — Lets you dial the phone by saying any namestored in your contact list, without ever having to record, or“train” that name. VoiceSignal automatically voice-activates allyour contacts, even if you have hundreds of them stored onyour phone. You can also dial any telephone number, even if itis not stored in your contact list, by saying the digits in thenumber.
