The Roaming icon ( ) appears in the top line ofthe display when Roaming is active, and extra charges may apply when making orreceiving calls.Note: Some features may be unavailable while roaming. Roaming also consumes additional power from thebattery requiring more frequent recharging. Contact your Wireless Provider for more informationabout Roaming.How Roaming WorksRoam Option lets you set roaming preferences if you move in and out of your homenetwork. The following roaming options are available:• Home only — Your phone is available for normal operation only in the designatedcoverage area.• Automatic-A — Your Wireless Provider’s Preferred Roaming List (PRL) ofnetworks is used to acquire service. If no preferred networks are found, any digital“A” system is acquired.• Automatic-B — Your Wireless Provider’s PRL is used to acquire service. If nopreferred networks are found, any digital “B” system is acquired.
