English-8Connecting to the TVTo operate the TV using a Smart Touch Control, you must firstpair it to the TV via Bluetooth. Note that the Smart Touch Controlwill only work with the paired Samsung TV. To pair the TV and theSmart Touch Control for the first time, follow these steps:1. When the TV is off, move within a few feet of the TV, point theSmart Touch Control at the remote control receiver of the TV,and then press the TV button.✎ The remote control receiver’s location may varydepending on the model.✎ The TV button transmits an IR signal only.2. A Bluetooth icon will appear at the bottom left of the screen as shown below. The TV will then attempt to connect to theSmart Touch Control automatically.3. When pairing is successful, the TV displays a small green circle between graphics representing the TV and the SmartTouch Control. If the Smart Touch Control does not pair, remove the Smart Touch Control’s battery cover, aim the SmartTouch Control at the TV’s remote control receiver, and then use a pen tip to press and release the pairing button on theback of the Smart Touch Control.
