1.3Installing SmarThru Software1 Installing SoftwareSystem RequirementsBefore you start, make sure you have the following minimum computersetup:• Windows 3.x, or Windows 95/98: 486SX 33MHz or higher processor with8 MB or higher RAM• Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 3): Pentium 90 or higher CPU with 32 MBor higher RAM• Free disk space of at least 50MB for full installation• CD-ROM driveInstallation Procedure√ Make sure the machine is plugged in and connected to your computer. Turnyour computer and the machine on.√ If Windows 95/98 users see the “New Hardware Found” screen, close it byclickingCancel.Install the Samsung Software1. Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.The SmarThru program is automatically running and the SamsungSmarThru Installation screen will appear.If the Samsung SmarThru Installation screen does not appear:1) Windows 95/98 users should select Run from the Start menu.Windows 3.x users should select Run from the File menu.2) Type D:\Setupint (where ‘D‘ represents the letter designation of yourcomputer’s CD ROM drive), and click OK to start the installationprogram.
