Select the memory in which the message is tobe saved and press the OK soft key.5. The message is sent.Note: If the phone fails to send the message, itasks you if you want to retry. Press theOK soft key to resend it. Otherwise, pressthe Exit soft key.Creating a Message Using the Options1. Create your message as required.2. Press the Options soft key.3. Select one of the following options as requiredby using the and keys and pressing theSelect soft key.Text Formatting: allows you to format thestyle of the text. For the Size attribute, theNormal, Large and Small sizes are available.For the Underline and Strikethroughattributes, select On or Off. The attributes canbe combined.Add Objects: allows you to add the requiredsound, melody, picture or animation to themessage. Select the category of object to beadded. In each category, you can select thevarious factory-set items or choose an itemreceived from other sources, such as theInternet or other phones.Messages67Add Templates: allows you to apply one of thepreset message templates to the text. Selectone of the five messages predefined via theTemplates menu option (Menu 1.4); forfurther details, see below.Add Phonebook: allows you to insert aphonebook entry in your message. Select theappropriate entry in the list.Add Bookmark: allows you to add the addressof a Web page stored in your Favourites list(Menu 7.2.2). Select the Web page from thelist.Language: allows you to change the languageto be used in the T9 input mode. Select thelanguage to be used.4. Complete the message, and send or save it byfollowing the procedure from Step 3 on page 65.Templates (Menu 1.4)Using this menu, you can preset up to five messagesthat you use most frequently. Scroll through thetemplate list using the and keys. When therequired message template is highlighted, press theOptions soft key.Edit: allows you to write a new message or edit theselected message.Note: For information on how to enter characters,refer to page 42.Send Message: allows you to recall the selectedmessage. Once you have completed the message,you can send, save and send, or simply save it. Fordetails on how to send a message, see page 65.Delete: allows you to delete the selected message.You are asked to confirm the deletion by pressingthe Yes soft key.
