You can enteralphanumeric characters by using your phone’skeypad.Your phone has the following text input modes:• T9 modeThis mode allows you to enter words with onlyone keystroke per letter. Each key on the keypadhas more than one letter; for example, when youpress the 5 key once, J, K or L displays. T9 modeautomatically compares your keystrokes with aninternal linguistic dictionary to determine thecorrect word, thus requiring far fewer keystrokesthan the traditional Alphabet mode.• Alphabet modeThis mode allows you to enter letters by pressingthe key labelled with the letter you want to enteronce, twice, three or four times until it displays.• Symbol modeThis mode allows you to enter various symbolsand special characters.• Number modeThis mode allows you to enter numbers.
