Phone Settings108Extra Settings (Menu 6.6)You can turn the automatic redialing or answering features onor off.The following options are available:Auto Redial: when this option is checked, the phone makesup to ten attempts to redial a phone number after anunsuccessful call.Note: The interval between two attempts varies.Active Folder: when this option is checked, you can simplyopen the folder to answer a call.When it is unchecked, you must open the folder and press akey to answer a call, depending on the setting of the AnykeyAnswer option. See below.Anykey Answer: when this option is checked, you cananswer an incoming call by pressing any key, except thekey and the Reject soft key. To reject the call, press thekey or the Reject soft key.When this option is unchecked, you can only press the keyor Accept soft key.To turn a feature Press theon On soft key.A check mark displays in front of theoption.off Off soft key.The check mark no longer displays.Phone Settings109Short Cut (Menu 6.7)The Navigation keys can be used as shortcut keys. In Idlemode, they allow you to access specific menus directly.The Up key is fixed as a shortcut to the Camera menu. In thismenu, you can change the shortcuts assigned to the Down,Right and Left keys.To assign a shortcut to a key:1. Select the key to be used as a shortcut key by pressingthe Up or Down key and press the Select soft key.2. Select the menu to be assigned to the key by pressing theUp or Down key.Note: To deactivate a shortcut key, select the None option.3. Press the Select soft key to save the selection.Reset Settings (Menu 6.8)You can easily reset your phone to its default settings. Toreset your phone:1. Select the Reset Settings menu.2. Enter the 8-digit phone password and press the OK softkey.Note: The password is preset to “00000000.” To change thispassword, see page 106.
