Messages64Outbox (Menu 1.2)The outbox is used to store the messages that youhave already sent or will send.When you select this menu, the list of messages inthe outbox is displayed with the recipients’ phonenumbers or names, if available in your phonebook.1. Select the message you wish to read from thelist and press the View soft key to view themessage contents.2. To scroll through the message, press the orkey.3. To scroll to the previous or next message, pressthe or key.While reading a message, you can choose thefollowing options by pressing the Options soft key.Delete: allows you to delete the message.Send: allows you to (re)send the message. Forfurther information on how to send a message, seepage 65.Cut Address: allows you to extract URL or E-mailaddresses or phone numbers from the messagetext, so that you can save them in the phonebook.Move To Phone: allows you to move the messagefrom the SIM card to the phone memory.Move To SIM: allows you to move the messagefrom the phone memory to the SIM card.Select Objects: allows you to save media objects,such as sounds or images, from the message intoyour phone. You can then use the objects whenwriting a message; for details, see page 66.Messages65Write New (Menu 1.3)Via this menu, you can write and send a textmessage.Note: You can enter up to 918 alphanumericcharacters for your message. If you add mediaobjects to the message, the number ofcharacters you can enter is decreased.Creating a Simple Text Message1. Create your message as required.Note: For information on how to enter characters,refer to page 42.2. When you have completed your message, pressthe Options soft key. The following options areavailable.Send: allows you to send the message.
