If the Mute keys option is selected, your phonedoes not transmit the DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) tones of the keys, which allows you topress keys without hearing annoying key tonesduring a call.Note: To communicate with answering machines orcomputerised telephone systems, the Sendkeys option must be selected.Sending a Sequence of DTMF tonesYou can send the DTMF tones after entering theentire number you need to send.This option is helpful for entering a password or anaccount number when you call an automatedsystem, like a banking service.To send the DTMF tones:1. When you are connected to the teleservicesystem, press the Options soft key.2. Press the Down key to highlight the Send DTMFoption.3. Press the Centre key or Ok soft key.4.
