Multimedia 77Viewing your PicturesAfter you take a photo, you can access various options from theImage Viewer. The Image Viewer uses your Gallery. For moreinformation, refer to “Gallery” on page 72.Using the CamcorderIn addition to taking photos, the camera also doubles as acamcorder that also allows you to record, view, and send videos.Note: The camera may not be able to properly record videos to a memory cardwith a slow transfer speed.Shooting VideoTip: When shooting video in direct sunlight or in bright conditions, it isrecommended that you provide your subject with sufficient light by havingthe light source behind you.1. From the main Home screen, tap Camera to activatethe camera mode.2. Touch and drag the Camera mode button down toCamcorder Mode.3. Using the phone’s main display screen as a viewfinder,adjust the image by aiming the camcorder at the subject.4. Before you take a video, you can zoom in up to 4x (400%)using the Up and Down Volume keys or by pinching thescreen outwards and inwards.5. If desired, before taking the video, you can tap on-screenicons to access various camera options and settings.6. You can also tap the screen to move the focus to the areayou touch.7. Tap the Video key ( ) to begin shooting video. The redlight will blink while recording.8. You can tap the screen to move the focus to the area youtouch.9. Tap to turn on auto focus. This will automatically focuson the middle of the screen.10. To capture a still image from the video while recording, tap. This feature is not available when the anti-shakefeature is activated.Image viewer: allows you to access the Image viewerand the various viewing options for a selected picture.Image viewer options are described in the followingsection. The last picture taken is displayed as a thumbnailin the Image viewer icon.
