107Using PlaylistsPlaylists are used to assign songs to a list of preferred media which can then begrouped into a list for later playback. These Playlists can be created via either thehandset’s Music Player options menu or from within a 3rd party music application(such as Windows Media Player) and then downloaded to the handset.Creating a Playlist1. Press the key to display the main AT&T Music menu.2. Highlight Music Player and press the Select soft key or the key.3. Highlight Playlist. Press the Select soft key or the key.4. Highlight New Playlist and press the key.5. On the Add Tracks screen, select the method by which you will start addingtracks to the Playlist. You must add at least one track and name the Playlistinitially.6. To continue creating the Playlist, select the playlist you just created, andthen use the Options soft key to Shop Music on the browser, or AddTracks to continue adding music from your phone or memory card.7. Press the Save soft key to name and store this playlist as a separate filewithin the main Media Player directory.Adding Songs to a Playlist1. Press the key to display the main AT&T Music menu.2. Highlight Music Player and press the Select soft key or the key.3. Highlight Playlists and press Select soft key. Highlight the previouslycreated playlist and press the Options soft key.4. Highlight Add Tracks and press the key.5. Highlight music files and press the key to select them. The Playlistscreen lists all of the available music files on the handset.You can choose to add either individual songs, multiple songs, or Allavailable songs. All selects all of the available listed songs and marksthem for addition to the playlist.6. Press the Done soft key and wait for the song to be added to the currentplaylist.7. You will have the option to rename the playlist, but can leave the playlistnamed as it is by pressing the Save soft key.
