Call Functions 41Section 3: Call FunctionsThis section describes features and functionality associatedwith making or answering calls, and the Contacts list, whichis used to store contact information.Making a Call From the Home screen, touch Dialer, and then enter thenumber you want to dial and press .Note: When you activate the Auto redial option in the Callsettings menu, the phone automatically redials up to 10times when the person does not answer the call or isalready on the phone, provided your call is not sent tovoice mail. For more information, refer to “Call Settings”on page 158.Making an International Call1. From the Home screen, touch Dialer, then press andhold . The + character displays.2. Enter the country code, area code, and phone number.3. Press to make the call.Correcting the Number1. Touch to clear the last digit displayed.2. Touch and hold to clear the entire display.Ending a Call From within an active call, press (End Call).– or –From within an active call, tap (End Call).Redialing the Last NumberThe phone stores the numbers of the calls you have dialed,received, or missed if the caller is identified.To recall any of these numbers:1. Touch ➔ Logs to display the call logs. All calls isthe default, but you can use the drop down list to selectAll calls, All, Missed calls, or Outgoing calls.2. Select the number to view details.3. Press Call to dial the number.Menu
