102Voice Recognition SettingsYou can adjust the settings and preferences for VoiceSignal by opening theVoice recognition settings menu.Note: You can also press the Right Navigation key in Idle mode and press theSettings soft key to access the Voice Recognition setting options.The following options are available:• Choice lists: if VoiceSignal is not absolutely confident that it hascorrectly identified a name or number, it can display a choice list ofup to three possibilities, and prompt you to confirm the correct one.You can control when choice lists appear by changing the ChoiceLists setting to the following:Automatic: VoiceSignal displays a choice list when it is notconfident it has identified the correct choice from among multiplealternatives.Always On: when there are multiple alternatives, VoiceSignalalways displays a choice list.Always Off: VoiceSignal never displays a choice list. Instead, theapplication picks the best from among the possible choices.• Sensitivity: in VoiceSignal, sensitivity controls the balancebetween rejecting too much, which means the phone frequentlydoes not recognize names, numbers, or commands, and rejectingtoo little, which means it frequently recognizes something even ifnothing was said. When VoiceSignal rejects an utterance, itdisplays a message such as “Please repeat…” or “No matchfound.”
