Phone Settings104Short Cut (Menu 5.7)The Up or Down keys can be used as shortcut keys.In Idle Mode, they allow you to access specificmenus directly.To assign a shortcut to a key:1. Select the key to be used as a shortcut key bypressing the Up or Down key, and press theSelect soft key or Right key.2. Select the menu to be assigned to the key bypressing the Up or Down key.Note: To deactivate a shortcut key, select theNone option.3. Press the Select soft key to save the selection.Reset Settings (Menu 5.8)You can easily reset your phone to its defaultsettings. To reset your phone:1. Select the Reset Settings menu.2. Enter the 8-digit phone password and press theOK soft key.Note: The password is preset to “00000000.” Tochange this password, see page 100.105OrganiserThe Organiser feature enables you to:• set an alarm so that the phone rings at a specifictime, such as to remind you of an appointment.• view the calendar and organise your schedule.• set the current date and time.• define a list of things to do.• use the phone as a calculator for basicmathematical equations or currency exchangeoperations.• record voice memos.• make currency conversions.Alarm (Menu 6.1)This feature allows you to:• set the alarm to ring at a specific time.• set the phone to switch on automatically and ringthe alarm even if the phone is switched off.The following options are available:Once Alarm: the alarm rings only once and is thendeactivated.Daily Alarm: the alarm rings every day at thesame time.Morning Call: the alarm rings to wake you up inthe morning.To set an alarm:1.
