46Section 5Using T9 ModeT9 is a predictive text input mode that allows you to keyin any character using single keystrokes. This text inputmode is based on a built-in dictionary.To enter a word in T9 mode:1. When you are in T9 mode, start entering a word bypressing the 2 to 9 keys. Press each key only once foreach letter.Example: To enter “Hello” in T9 mode, press the 4, 3, 5, 5, and 6keys.The word that you are typing appears on the display. Itmay change with each key that you press.2. Enter the whole word before editing or deleting thekeystrokes.3.
