Menu functions Settings (Menu 9)952. Select Search new device.After searching, a list of devices to whichyou can connect displays. The followingicons indicate the type of device:• Mobile phone• Hands-free car kit or headset• Printer• Computer• PDA• Unknown deviceThe colour of the icon indicates thestatus of the device:• Grey for unpaired devices• Blue for paired devices• Red for devices that are currentlyconnected to your phone3. Select a device.4. Enter a Bluetooth PIN and press <OK>.This code is used just once and you donot need to memorise it.When the owner of the other deviceenters the same code, pairing iscomplete.Using device optionsFrom the device list, press <Options> toaccess the following options:• Browse device: search for data fromthe device and import data directly toyour phone.• Connect: connect to a headset orhands-free car kit.• Disconnect: end the connection withthe connected device.• Authorise device/Unauthorisedevice: determine whether or not thephone asks you to permit connectionwhen other devices try to connect toyour phone.• Delete: remove the selected device orall devices from the list.• Rename: rename the selected device.Some devices, especially headsets or hands-free car kits, may have a fixed BluetoothPIN, such as 0000. If the other device hasone, you must enter the code.
