Section 3: Call Functions 27Silent ModeSection 3You can press the key at any time to exit the MissedCall feature.Note: You can access the Missed Call feature at any time by selecting theMissed calls menu.Silent ModeSilent mode is convenient when you wish to stop thephone from making noise, in a theater for example.In Idle mode, press and hold the key until the “Silentmode” message and the Vibration icon ( ) display.In Silent mode, instead of sounds, your phone willvibrate, or flash its light, depending on the function andthe situation.To exit and reactivate the previous sound settings, pressand hold the key again until “Exit silent mode” appears.The Vibration icon ( ) no longer displays.Selecting Functions and OptionsYour phone offers a set of functions that allow you tocustomize it. These functions are arranged in menus andsub-menus, accessed using the two soft keys. Each menuand sub-menu allows you to view and alter the settings ofa particular function.Soft KeysThe roles of the soft keys vary depending on the functionyou are currently using; the labels on the bottom line of thedisplay just above each key indicate their current role.
