InstallationStep 13 Optional: Installing external controllerAccessories (External controller : MIM-B14)External Controller PCB CaseHaness Wire Haness WireScrew1 Fix the case at with bolts on the side of the control box inthe indoor unit.(See the picture).2 Attach the external controller PCB to the case in thecontrol box of the indoor unit.3 Connect the harness wires.Accessories (SPI module : MSD-EAN1)Refer to the SPI module(MSD-EAN1) installation manual forthe more information.Step 14 Connecting the power andcommunication cablesCAUTION• Always remember to connect the refrigerant pipes beforeperforming the electric connections. When disconnectingthe system, always disconnect the electric cables beforedisconnecting the refrigerant pipes.CAUTION• Always remember to connect the air conditioner to the groundingsystem before performing the electric connections. Use a crimpring terminal at the end of each wire.The indoor unit is powered through the outdoor unit bymeans of a H07 RN-F connection cable (or a more powermodel), with insulation in synthetic rubber and a jacketin polychloroprene (neoprene), in accordance with therequirements specified in the standard EN 60335-2-40.1 Remove the screw on the electrical component box andremove the cover plate.2 Route the connection cord through the side of the indoorunit and connect the cable to the terminals refer to thefigure below.3 Route the other end of the cable to the outdoor unitthrough the ceiling & the hole on the wall.4 Reassemble the electrical component box cover, carefullytightening the screw.
