Tools & Settings 54Section 14: Tools & SettingsThis section guides you through the customizationprocess by accessing and updating the phone’ssettings menu.Adjusting Sound SettingsThis set of features allows you to customize the audioproperties of your phone (volume, ringer, andalert/notification).Understanding Silence AllThere can be times when you need to silence yourphone entirely and therefore manually override anysettings. The phone’s Silence All option allows you tomute all sounds.To activate Silence All1. Slide the phone open.2. Press and hold the volume key down instandby mode until the screen displays“Silence All.”To deactivate Silence All1. Slide the phone open.2. Press the volume key up repeatedly to select adesired volume level.Selecting a Ringer Type for Voice CallsYour phone provides ringer options that allow you tocustomize a ringer type and volume settings to helpyou identify incoming calls by the ringer used.1. From the Main screen, press Menu (Left OptionButton) ➔ Tools & Settings ➔ Sounds ➔Ringtones and press .2. Scroll through the available ringers. A sampleof the tone plays as the ringtone highlights.3.
