Section 2J: Using Your Smartphone 100Data ConnectionsYou can use Data Connections settings to create dial-up, VirtualPrivate Network (VPN), and proxy connections so that you canconnect to the Internet or your corporate network. By using a dataconnection, you can browse the Web, download e-mail, chat byusing MSN® Messenger, or synchronize remotely with an ExchangeServer. Check with your service provider to see if a data connectionhas already been set up for you, and if over-the-air configuration issupported.The following options are available: Internet connection: Allows you to select Automatic or Sprint 3G. Work connection: Selects Automatic for the Work Internetconnection setting. There are no additional settings associatedwith this option. WAP connection: Selects Automatic for the WAP Internetconnection setting. There are no additional settings associatedwith this option. Secure WAP connection: Select Automatic for the Secure WAPInternet connection setting. There are no additional settingsassociated with this option.To access Data Connections:1. Press for Start.2.
