(For more information, see Section 2G: Using Contactson page 71.)To save a number from standby mode:1. Enter a phone number.2. Press for Save.3. Press again for .— or—Scroll through the Contacts to select an existing name andpress to add the additional number to the selected entry.4. Enter a name for the entry using the numeric keys. (Press andhold to change the entry method between ABC, T9,and 123. See "Entering Text" on page 27.)5. Press down to highlight the desired number label.6. Press to automatically insert the number.7. Press to save the entry.Finding ContactsThis feature allows you to search for contact names saved in yourphone by entering numbers. When searching, you must enter thedigits and then press the navigation key down to select the areaunder the phone number. The smart dialing feature automaticallynarrows down the choices of available matches.To find a contact:1. Begin entering the digits of the phone number you wish to call.2. A list of possible matches is automatically displayed in thewindow.3. Press down to select the desired match and pressto call.
