Section 13: MESSAGE 139Message/Media BoxesMessage/Media BoxesThe A303 device stores copies of all of your messages and/or media from your messages,except those that you cancel. Messages of each type and picture message media arestored in the following boxes:• Inbox• Sent/Outbox/Outgoing• Drafts• Timed (text messages only)• Saved (text messages only)• Media Box (picture messages only)• Junk (text messages only)InboxReceived messages other than Email and Voice Mail are stored in an Inbox on your device.1. In standby mode, press the Down navigation key (MESSAGE shortcut), then do one ofthe following:• Press (for Text Messages) and for Inbox. The Inbox screen appears in thedisplay listing received Text messages.• Press (for Pic. Messages) and for Inbox. The Inbox screen appears in thedisplay listing received Picture messages.2. Use the navigation keys to highlight a message, then do one of the following:• Press the key to view the highlighted message, then proceed to Step 3.• Press the Menu (left) soft touch key ( ). The following options appear in the display:– Call — Lets you call the sender of a message.– Reply — Lets you reply to a message.– Forward — Lets you forward the message to Contacts, other mobile phone numbers,and/or Email addresses.– Protection On/Off — Blocks or allows deletion of the highlighted message.– Add to Junk — Blocks further messages from the sender of the highlighted message.– Sort Messages — Sort the messages in the Inbox by date and time received, sender,priority, or message size.– Save Message — Save the highlighted message to an Inside folder on your device or toan Outside folder on a memory card. This lets you keep important messages and re-usemessage box space for new messages.– Delete — Deletes the highlighted message from the Inbox.– Delete All — Deletes all messages from the Inbox.– Extract — Picture messages only — Saves pictures, sounds files, and video clips to theMedia Box.Use the navigation keys to highlight an option.
