When you pair devices, they share apasskey, allowing for fast, secure connections whilebypassing the discovery and authentication process.To pair your phone with another Bluetooth device:1. Highlight and press > Bluetooth >Add a New....2. Select a device category and press . (Yourphone will display a list of discovered in-rangeBluetooth devices.) Select from: Headset/Car Kits, All, Phone, or PC.3. Highlight a device and press . Select Info (rightsoftkey) to obtain more information about thedevice prior to pairing.4. Enter the passkey and press .5. Once added, highlight the new entry and pressOptions (right softkey) > Edit Name, enter a uniqueDevice Name and press Done (left softkey).Pairing With a ComputerTo pair with a computer’s Bluetooth interface, allow thecomputer to initiate pairing with your phone.To allow your phone to be paired with another Bluetoothdevice:1. Highlight and press > Bluetooth >Add a New... > PC.2. Follow the onscreen prompts to enter your passkeyand press .Note Refer to the manufacturer’s documentation to obtainthe passkey for any other devices.
