Within theMessaging menu you can also view the number of voicemailmessages you have waiting for you. For more information on usingyour phone’s voicemail feature, see “Using Voicemail” on page 26.The following folders are available in the Messaging menu:• Send Message - allows you to send text messages.• Text Message - allows you to create and send new textmessages, as well as check your Text Message Inbox• Picture Msg - allows you to create and send new picturemessages, as well as check your Picture Msg Inbox.• Web Alert - allows you to receive an alert that a new webmessage is available.• Voicemail - allows you to view or listen to any voicemessages saved in the phone.• Settings - allows you to configure the messaging options.Text MessagingUsing Text MessagingWith Text Messaging, you can use a person’s wireless phonenumber to send instant text messages from your phone to theirmessaging-ready phone – and they can send messages to you.When you receive a new message, you’ll automatically be notifiedwith a one-way text message.In addition, messaging includes a variety of pre-set messages, suchas “I’m running late, I’m on my way,” that make composing messagesfast and easy.
