41Exposure compensationThis camera automatically adjusts the exposure according to theambient lighting conditions. You can also select the exposure valueby using the [EV] menu. Compensating Exposure1. Click the Up/Down button from theShooting menu to select [EV] ( ).2. Use the Left and Right buttons to setthe desired exposure compensationfactor.3. Press the OK button. The value youset will be saved and the Exposure Compensation setup modewill be closed. The higherthe ISO value, the higher the camera’s sensitivity to light and thereforethe greater its capacity to take pictures in dark conditions.
