There are two soft keys, the left soft keyand the right soft key .Left Soft KeySome functions of the left soft key are as follows.• Touch the Message (left) soft key to open the Message menu.• When the left soft key function is Settings, touch the Settings (left) softkey to view settings for the feature.• When the left soft key function is Edit, touch the Edit (left) soft keyto edit a Contact or Profile setting.Right Soft KeySome functions of the right soft key are as follows.• Touch the Contacts (right) soft key to open your Contacts list.• When the right soft key function is Options, touch the Options (right)soft key to view more options for the current menu.Clear KeyThe CLR key is used to erase or clear numbers, text, orsymbols from the display. You can also use to return to aprevious menu or to return to the home screen from any menu.• If you enter an incorrect character, briefly touch to backspace(and delete) the character.• To erase the previous word in a sentence, touch and hold .• To back up one menu level, briefly touch .• Touch and hold to return to the home screen.End/Power KeyThe End/Power key is used to end a call, to turn yourphone on/off, to return to the home screen from any menu orcancel the last input.• Press and hold the End/Power key to turn your phone on oroff.• Press the End/Power key to disconnect a call.• Press the End/Power key to return to the home screen fromany menu, or to cancel the last input.• Press the End/Power key to send an incoming call directly toVoicemail.Send KeyThe Send key is used to answer calls, dial calls, and torecall the last number(s) dialed, received, or missed.• Press the Send key to answer calls.• Enter a number and press the Send key to make a call.• Press the Send key from the home screen to display a list ofall calls to and from your phone.• Press the Send key twice from the home screen to call themost recently dialed, received, or missed number.Violin.book Page 14 Tuesday, March 3, 2009 2:12 PM
