CONNECTIONS8.1 - WATER CONNECTION• The machine is supplied with the drain andwater intake hoses already connected.DrainNear the machine there must be a drain (1) withsiphon.• Connect one end of the shortest drain hose(4) to the drain coupling on the machine (5) andthe other end to the coupling on the tray (3) andfix with the hose clips (6).• Connect one end of the longest drain hose (2)to the coupling (3) on the tray and the other endto the drain (1) prepared previously.FillingFilling (for version with built-in pump)• Connect the intake hose (7) to a watersoftener (8), interposing the water purifying filter(9) supplied• Install a splitter tap (10) before the watersoftener (8), to separate the machine from themains water supply.IMPORTANT: the machine must beconnected by a specialisedauthorised technician.The machine must be connected to amains water supply in compliancewith the standards and regulationsin force in the country where themachine is to be operated and usinga new set of couplings.The drain siphon must be located atleast 20 cm below the surface onwhich the machine stands.The machine must be connected to amains water supply providingappropriately softened drinking waterwith a maximum hardness of 3.5/5French degrees (60/85 ppn). Make surethe supply pressure does not exceed 6bars (0.6 MPa). If the pressure isgreater, install a pressure reducer.
