5This TV set provides a self-automatic tuning and sorting functioncalled “Plug & Play”. The first time you switch on this TV set, it willautomatically begin to search and store all available channels.Please make sure that the aerial cable is connected to theaerial socket of the TV set before switching-on.To receive the satellite broadcasting, a satellite tuner isrequired. Before carrying out the automatic setting up,receive the satellite broadcasting on the satellite tuner.1. Press the Mains ON/OFF switch on the front of the TV.The power indicator illuminates red to show the power is on.If no picture appears but the power indicator is on, press the ,Ps, Ps or 0-9 button as the TV set is in the standby mode.l A self-automatic tuning and sorting system will be started asfollows;The tuning status and welcome messages will appear on thescreen.After completing this procedure, the ending messages appear onthe screen.To make this message disappear, press any of the control buttons.Now the installation is completed !The channels are stored in consecutive programme positionsstarting at programme position "7". After all receivable channelshave been found and stored, the TV set automatically allocatesfollowing major stations in the UK into the programme positions 1to 6.BBC1 BBC2 ITV CH4CH5 SKY BBC-W BBC-PCH4 : Channel 4 or S4CSKY : SKY GOLD, SKY SPORTS.etcBBC-W : BBC World, BBC Worldwide feature 1BBC-P : BBC PrimeProgramme position 1 : BBC1Programme position 2 : BBC2Programme position 3 : ITVProgramme position 4 : CH4 or S4CProgramme position 5 : CH5Programme position 6 : SKY, BBC-W or BBC-PIf any of them are not available in your reception area, someprogramme positions from 1 to 6 will not have a stored station.The remaining stations will be stored from programme position 7in sequence as found.This procedure only appears the first time you switch on.If additional channels become available (you move to anothercity or cable is installed), please follow the description“PRESETTING”.
