Make the setting that is appropriate for the area beingmonitored.Setting the alarm durationYou can set the alarm duration separately for each camera. Separatesettings are only possible when DURATION in the ALARM RECMODE SET menu is set to “INDIV”. (See page 59.)1 Press the MENU button to select RECORD SET, and then turnthe shuttle dial clockwise.The RECORD SET sub-menu appears, and the cursor ispositioned at RECORDING AREA SET.2 Use the jog dial to move the cursor to ALARM OPERATIONSET, and then turn the shuttle dial clockwise.The ALARM OPERATION SET sub-menu appears, and the cursoris positioned at MAIN MON. DISPLAY.3 Use the jog dial to move the cursor to ALARM DURATIONSET, and then turn the shuttle dial clockwise.The ALARM DURATION SET sub-menu appears, and the cursoris positioned at 01 (camera 1).4 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise, use the jog dial to set thealarm duration (example: 10S), and then turn the shuttle dialclockwise.When an alarm is received at camera 1, the alarm will be receivedfor 5 seconds.
