Alwayspress the STOP/CLEAR button and waitfor the disc to stop rotating before openingthe CD compartment lid.- Always place the compact disc in the CDcompartment with the label facing up. Compactdiscs can be played on only one side.- Fingerprints and dust should be carefully wipedoff the disc’s signal surface (opposite the labelside) with a soft cloth. Gently wipe in a straightmotion from the inside to the outside of the disc.- Discs should be returned to their case afteruse to avoid serious scratches which couldcause the player to skip.- Do not expose a disc to direct sunlight, highhumidity, or high temperatures for extendedperiods of time to prevent warping the disc.- Do not apply paper or write anything on thesurface of the disc.- Do not use cleaners or antistatic sprays ondiscs, such as those used for phonographrecords.IMPORTANT NOTE;If an abnormal display indication, or an operatingproblem occurs, disconnect the mains lead.Remove the batteries (see page 2). Wait at least5 seconds, then reconnectthe mains lead.Reinstall the batteries.6
