Unlocked.On1 . . . Enter the PIN code every time turning on theprojector.On2 . . . Enter the PIN code to operate the projector oncethe Main On/Off Switch is pressed to Off or thepower cord is unplugged ; as long as the AC powercord is connected and the Main On/Off Switchis pressed to ON, the projector can be operatedwithout a PIN code.Whenever you change the PIN code lock setting or the PINcode (the four-digit number), you are required to enter the PINcode. “1234” is set as the initial PIN code at the factory.If you want to change the PIN code lock setting, press theSELECT button and the PIN code dialog box appears. Enter aPIN code by following the steps on the next page.PIN code lockWhen the projectoris locked with a PINcode, the PIN codelock symbol appearson the menu bar.Set the red framepointer to the itemand press theSELECT button.SettingOn startWhen this function is set to “On,” the projector will beautomatically turned on just by connecting the AC power cord tothe wall outlet.✔Note:• Make sure that the MAIN ON / OFF switch is ON, otherwise theOn start function does not work.• Be sure to turn off the projector properly (see “Turning Off theProjector” on page 24). If the projector is turned off in the incorrectsequence, the On start function does not work properly.
